Skipton Chamber has a vacancy for a Part Time Secretary

SECRETARY REQUIRED
Part Time minimum 12 hours per week
£8.00 per hour

Skipton Chamber of Trade & Commerce is looking to appoint a person to work in the Chamber Office on Skipton High Street.
It is desirable that applicants have a good standard of English, a confident personality, good computing knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Sage and able to work flexible hours to include early morning and evening meetings.

  • Provide an efficient administrative support to the Executive & Members
  • Maintain and update records, spreadsheets and databases
  • Maintain and update the Website, Twitter and Facebook
  • Maintain and manage Chamber accounts using Sage & Excel
  • Understand, support and promote the Skipton Chamber of Trade 
  • Participate in the functions and activities of the Skipton Chamber 
  • Prepare and attend all Chamber meetings
  • Take minutes, process and distribute to members 
  • Execute general office duties
