Record entries received for the third annual Skipton Business Awards
Skipton Chamber of Trade, the organisation which spearheads the Skipton Business Awards, has reported a record number of entries for the 2019 accolades.

The working party, made up of Chamber of Trade members, is pleased that the Awards, now in their third year, are gathering momentum. Entries across all the twelve categories have been strongly supported by new participants as well as attracting previous entrants and winners.

Each year a new panel of independent judges with business acumen reviews the entries and supporting documentation. The 2019 judging panel will meet on 15th March to establish a shortlist of finalists ahead of the award ceremony.

Tickets are available at £40 per head for the award ceremony dinner on Thursday 25th April at The Rendezvous Hotel to announce the winners and showcase the nominees and runners-up.

Ivan le Roux, President of Skipton Chamber of Trade & Commerce said “We’re thrilled that there has been a good response from the businesses in Skipton and the surrounding villages; it illustrates the commitment the local business community has to supporting the town’s endeavours.”
