Skipton Christmas Window Competition results

Thank you to everyone who took part and assisted with the Christmas Window Competition. It was lovely to see Skipton in festive glory. Many, many people complimented the new lights and the amazing Christmas tree, kindly donated to the town by Bolton Abbey Estate.

The Christmas Window Competition this year was opened up to members and none members. With huge thanks to the generosity of Spear Travels, a member of the general public had the opportunity of winning £400 of travel vouchers from Spear Travels too.

From the entries received we drew for the prize winner and then counted the number of votes for each shop window to choose the second and first runners up and overall winner.

The results were as follows:

Winner of the free prize draw:

She was very excited to hear of her win! Her reaction:
"Oh wow, that's amazing, I'm quite shocked, I've never won anything like that before!"

Diana chose to vote for the Baby Mouse Company's window and her explanation for choosing it was:
"Full of amazing xmas gifts for all the family"
